Salisbury, MD – The Black College Sports Community is mourning the loss of J. Michael Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN), who died in a single-car accident in Maryland on Monday.j.michael wilsonWilson

Before joining HSRN in 2008, Wilson spent 12 years in a variety of positions for the U.S. Olympic Committee. Prior to joining the USOC, Wilson was an award-winning sports information director at North Carolina Central University. During his career, he also worked in sports information and marketing at Delaware State, Southern Methodist and his alma mater, Maryland-Eastern Shore.

Wilson's homegoing service is scheduled for Monday, June 8 at First Baptist Church in Salisbury, Maryland. Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home in Salisbury will administer the service.
