Ruffin Out As Edward Waters Football Coach

Just one geme ino the spring season, several sources, including the coach himself, have confirmed the termination of Greg Ruffin as head football coach at Edward Waters College.ewc logo ltrs

The school has not issued a formal statement but Ruffin confirmed the termination with News4Jax, a television station in Jacksonville.

Ruffin's bio has been removed from EWC's athletics website and replaced with infomation on interim head coach Joseph Carter

EWC opened its season with a 53-0 loss to Jackson State in a game televised nationally by ESPN leaving Ruffin with a 5-18 record at EWC.
