Winston-Salem State Director of Athletics Tonia Walker and Clark Atlanta AD J. Lin Dawson have been designated for leadership roles in two national organizations.
Walker has been named to the board of directors of Women Leaders in College Sports, formerly the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletic Administrators (NACWAA), Women Leaders in College Sports was founded in 1979 and is the only nationally recognized collegiate professional membership organization whose mission is to develop, connect, and advance women leaders in intercollegiate athletics.
Dawson has been elected as the new representative from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to the NCAA Division II Management Council. The Management Council reports directly to the Presidents Council and is charged with recommending administrative policy and regulations that govern the division. Dawson will replace Curtis Campbell (former Tuskegee AD) and begin his four-year term immediately,
