BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Jackson State will face off with No. 1 North Carolina (UNC) in the first round of the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship on Friday, Nov. 12, 5 PM Eastern at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, N.C.

North Carolina (17-2-2) was an at-large selection from the Atlantic Coast Conference while Jackson State (13-6-1) earned an automatic bid after winning the SWAC Championship. The Tar Heels won the 2009 NCAA Championship after defeating Stanford 1-0.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students and are currently on sale at the Ticket Center on TarHeelBlue.com. Live stats will also be available on TarHeelBlue.com.

Because of concurrent women's and men's basketball games on UNC’s campus Friday evening, fans are encouraged to arrive early for the soccer game.
