Battle of the Firsts To Be Aired Live on ESPN3

LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. – The 2015 edition of the Battle of the Firsts featuring Lincoln University against rival Cheyney University will air live on ESPN3 at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 5.battleofthefirsts espn3

The name of the meeting, which traditionally kicks off the football season for both schools, comes from Cheyney and Lincoln Universities, each claiming to be the oldest HBCU.

This year's contest will be played at O’Shields-Stevenson Stadium on the Cheyney University campus.
