NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Has announced the list of those Division I student-athletes who earned USTFCCCA All-America honors for the 2014 outdoor track & field season.
Student-athletes were honored for their performances at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Eugene, Ore.
First-Team All-America honors were awarded to those who finished among the top eight in an individual or relay event as part of a team; Second-Team All-America honors went to those who finished between ninth and 16th; and Honorable Mention honors were given to the remaining finishers.
Honorable Mention honorees should not be referred to as All-Americans.
The full men’s and women’s All-America lists are listed below, as are the lists of Honorable Mention awards for men and women.
Eight student-athletes came from the MEAC and Prairie View A&M provided the lone SWAC representative. The MEAC picked up six of seven HBCU honorable mentions with Tennessee State rounding out the list.
