O'Meally promoted to
Assistant AD for Internal Operations at Morgan State

Delise O'Meally, formerly the Morgan State University Athletic Compliance Coordinator has been promoted to Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations as announced by Director of Athletics Garnett Purnell. The promotion goes into effect immediately. Ms. O'Meally will be charged with the supervision of all athletic internal affairs which will include overseeing the Compliance Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, Strength Coach and Tennis, Volleyball, Softball and Bowling programs.

Ms. O'Meally began her professional career as the university assistant sports information director in 1993 after receiving her bachelor's degree in Telecommunications. During her tenure in sports information, she spearheaded thc computerization of the office. She became the Compliance Coordinator in March of 1994. The native of Jamaica came to Morgan on a tennis scholarship and was selected thc MEAC's Most Outstanding Tennis Performer for the 1992-93 season. She is currently completing her Master's Degree in Business Administration.
