
Morgan State's Ameerah Bello and Florida A&M's men's 1600 meter relay team chalked up points in the final day of the NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships in Buffalo, NY.
Bello scored in two events, finishing sixth in the 400m dash and eighth in the 200m dash.
Florida A&M closed out the Black College performances on the final day finishing third in the men's 1600 meter relay. The Rattler team of Corey Cameron, Charles Kumber, Wilfred Pollard and Winfred Pollard ran a 3:04.24 to capture the bronze medal. Georga Tech won the event with a time of 3:01.89.
Earlier in the competition, Texas Southern's Yuan Hunt, Hampton's James Carter and Norfolk State's 400 meter men's relay team earned All-America honors by scoring in an event final.
