CIAA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
JAY MAYNARD, Jr., G, WSSU, Jacksonville, NC - In two WSSU victories, Maynard averaged 26.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He had a eight three-pointers en route to a career-high 34 points in a win over Livingstone.
NAOMI MOBLEY, Sr., F, Shaw, Jacksonville, FL - In two wins, averaged 23.5 points, 15 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2 blocks. Mobley had 31 pts., 17 rebs., 4 steals and 3 blocks vs. JC Smith.

ROOKIE
KAUTELZA RICHARDS, Fr., F, Livingstone, Walterboro, SC- Averaged 17.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2 steals in 2-1 week. Scored a career-high 31 in loss to FSU.
JOHN FULTON, Fr., F, JC Smith, Manning, SC -
Got 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks in win over Shaw

DAVE ROBBINS, Va. Union - Got wins over Shaw, NC Central and UDC for the week and is on six-game winning streak.
JACQUES CURTIS, Shaw - Clinched E. Div. title with win over Va. Union, rose to 10th in NCAA Div. II poll.


MEAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
RON WILLIAMS, Sr., G, Howard, Columbus, OH - Scored 67 points, grabbed six rebounds, dealt out seven assists and had three steals in wins at Hampton and over Bethune Cookman. Williamson hit 54 percent (13-27) of his shots from three point range and 16-17 from the free throw line.
LEISEL HARRY, Jr., C, Coppin State, Point Fortin, Trinidad - In two games, had 36 points, 24 rebounds, three blocks and three steals including a career-high 18 points vs. SC State and Norfolk State.

ROOKIE
NAJMAH FAUNTLEROY, Fr., G, DelState, Odenton, MD - Helped the Hornets to three straight wins scoring 26 points, getting 25 rebounds including a double-double (15 pts., 10 reb.) in a win oer B-CC.
LOUIS FORD, Fr., G, Howard, Cambridge, MA -
In wins last week, he totaled 18 points, 17 assists and eight steals in wins over Hampton and Bethune Cookman. He was six for eight from the floor and a perfect six for six from the free throw line.

WILLIAM McDONALD, Sr., C, Grambling State, Pontiac, MI - Averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5.5 blocks in two games last week including a triple-double (10 pts., 11 reb., 11 blks.) in a loss to Prairie View and 18 pts., 11 rebounds in a win over Texas Southern.
SHEMEKA JACKSON, Sr., F, Alabama State, Flint, MI - Scored 23 points in 64-53 win over Alabama State, added 10 rebounds, 1 assist,2 steals and ablock. Jackson is 87 points shy of being the first Lady Hornet to score 2,000 points in a career.

LITREECE HURN, So., F, Lane, Milwaukee, WI - Averaged 19.5 points, 20.6 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 5.1 steals and 2.0 blocked shots.
