A&M positioned
All the Alabama A&M Bulldogs (7-3,5-1 SWAC E) have to do Saturday is defeat Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-7, 2-4) and the Southwestern Athletic Conference East Division title and spot opposite West Division champ Grambling State in the Dec.14 SWAC Championship game is theirs.
That shouldn't be too hard. A&M has dominated UAPB the last two years, winning 26-0 in 2000 and 35-0 last year. The win in 2000 propelled the Bulldogs to the Championship Game where they earned a rematch with Grambling. They'll be looking for a similar scenario this time. Grambling defeated A&M 23-13 on Sept. 14. An upset by UAPB coupled with a win by Jackson State over Alcorn State would give the East title to JSU who defeated A&M, 13-11.
PREDICTION: A&M 28, UAPB 10.
