In two games, he averaged 17 points and 6.5 rebounds. He had 18 pts., 7
rebounds in a 96-91 win over Grambling.
LATESHA LEE, 5-6, So, G, Jackson State, Bastrop, LA
- Averaged 14 points, 7.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 7.0 steals in two wins for the
Lady Tigers. In her best outing, a win against
Prairie View, she had 14 pts., nine rebounds, nine
steals and three assists.

JACLYN WINFIELD, 5-8, Sr., G, Southern, Wesson, MS
- In two games, Winfield scored 56 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, had 12
assists and seven steals. In her best game 1/19
vs. Alabama A&M, she had 31 points, two
rebounds, nine assists and five steals.

Rice scored 24 points as the Panthers downed Miles 70-64 and had 18 points, all in the first half,
as they held off LeMoyne-Owen 88-83.

Chesapeake, VA - Had season-high 38 pts. in 87-84
OT win over Howard Saturday. Towe hit 14 of 21
shots from the field, four of six from behind the arc,
got 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals.
MAURICE RIDDICK, 6-3, Jr., G, Bethune-Cookman, Suffolk, VA -
Hit on 11 of 14 3-pointers en route to 37-point effort in win over Coppin
State. Most three-pointers in game in NCAA this season.
JACKIE JOHNSON, 6-2, Sr., C, Coppin State, Okinawa, Japan
- In two wins she scored 38 points and pulled in 18 rebounds.

DEVIN GREEN, 6-6, Fr., G., Hampton, Columbus, OH -
26 pts., 11 reb., 5 blocks and two assists.
JENEEN WHITE, 5-9, Fr., G, Coppin
State, Washington, DC - Totalled 20 points, 15
rebounds, five assists and three steals in two
games for the Lady Eagles.

TIM WASHINGTON, 6-8, Jr., C, Bowie State, Washington, DC
- Averaged 23 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists as Bulldogs went 2-0
for the week. Against defending CIAA champ JC Smith, Washington had 28 points and 10
rebounds.
AMBA KONGOLO, 6-3, Sr., C, NC Central, Kinshasha, Congo -
Averaged 19.5 ppg., 7.5 rpg., 4.0 blocked shots and 2.5 apg., as the
Lady Eagles went 2-0. Kongolo had 25 points, 11 rebound and 4 blocks vs. NC A&T.
ROOKIE
MELANIE HARRISON, 5-4, Fr., G, J. C. Smith, Tuskegee, Al.
- Averaged 11.5 points, 4.0 assists, 3 rebounds and two steals to help Golden Bulls
go 2-0. She had 18 points and five assists vs. Livingstone.
HASSAN ROBINSON, 6-6, Fr., F, St. Paul's, Norfolk, VA
- Robinson repeats with Rookie Award as he averaged 27.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and
2.0 assists in two games. He had 30 points,
including five three-pointers, in upset of Va. Union.
