Hugh Douglas

6-2, 280, DE, Philadelphia Eagles (7th year, CENTRAL STATE)
Douglas, one of the premier pass rushers in the NFL, had five tackles including two sacks in PhillyÕs 21-7 win over Arizona. Douglas had a career-high 15 sacks last year, his third double-digit sack performance in his seven-year career, while leading the Eagles to their first playoff appearance in quite some time. Douglas has 56.5 sacks in his 82-game careeer.

 

Steve McNair

6-2, 225, QB, Tennessee Titans (7th year, ALCORN STATE)
McNair had one of the best days of his career as he had his first game with two TDs through the air and on the ground. McNair completed 27 of 34 passes for two touchdowns (20 and 5 yards) with no interceptions and also ran ten times for 74 yards and another two scores including a controversial one-yard plunge with :44 seconds left that gave the Titans a 28-24 win over Jacksonville. Maybe it's the Jaguars. He has passed for nine TDs in his last four games against Jacksonville, with no interceptions. It also was his best rushing performance since the 1999 AFC championship against Jacksonville. "He was in control out there," Coughlin said. "Our problem continues to be tackling
