JERRY RICE
WR, Oakland Raiders (17th year, Mississippi Valley State) Rice had seven receptions for 51 yards and including a five-yard scoring pass that put the first points on the board for the Raiders in a 28-21 win over Dallas. It was Rice's third touchdown of the season, and NFL-record 181st of his career.

 

 

JASON BROOKINS
RB, Baltimore Ravens (1st year, Lane College)

Brookins ran the ball 15 times for 68 yards including a one-yard TD run in the fourth quarter, his first touchdown as a professional, as the Ravens defeated Tennessee, 26-7. Brookins and starting running back Terry Allen combined for 176 rushing yards and two TDs to help the Ravens control the ball.

 

 

SHANNON SHARPE

TE, Baltimore Ravens (12th year, Savannah State)

Sharpe had three receptions for 57 yards in win over Tennessee. His 57 yards took him past Ozzie Newsome as the most prolific tight end in NFL history in receiving yards. Sharpe now has 8.018 yards, eclipsing Newsome's old record of 7,980 yards.
