Hall sees the end zone

From ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns' second-year linebacker Alex Hall out of St. Augustine's repaid Head Coach Eric Mangini's faith with a touchdown.

Hall, starting in place of David Bowens at outside linebacker, intercepted a pass from Titans quarterback Vince Young and returned it 11 yards for a touchdown in the Browns 23-17 win over Tennessee Saturday in a preseason game. Hall's score gave the Browns a 13-point lead.

"I was just fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time," said Hall. "I made a read, a good read and intercepted the ball. I hadn't scored before, so that was new. Going in, it felt good. I was just trying to enjoy the moment."

On the turnover, Young dropped back and released the ball quickly because of pressure from Robaire Smith, who had beaten the left tackle and was approaching a sack in the end zone. "He flushed him out," Hall said of Smith. "He did a great job of rushing. He just let it go and I took it to the house."
