Jerry Rice (WR, Mississippi Valley State) set virtually every receiving record in existence during his 20-year career with San Francisco, Denver and Seattle. Rice was chosen for the Pro Bowl 13 times, named All-Pro 12 times, won three Super Bowl rings with the 49ers, named to NFL's 1980s and 1990s All-Decade teams, league MVP in 1988, picked to the NFL's 75th Anniversary team and voted MVP of Super Bowl XXIII. Finished his career with record 1,459 receptions for 22,895 yards and 197 touchdowns. ELIGIBLE IN 2010.
Michael Strahan (DE, Texas Southern) was a feared pass rusher during his 15-year career with the New York Giants. He was named to the Pro Bowl seven times, first team All-Pro four times, NFC Defensive Player of the Year twice and NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2001. Strahan holds the NFL single season sack record with 22.5 and is No. 5 on the league's career list with 141.5. He won a Super Bowl ring in his final season. ELIGIBLE IN 2013. Aeneas Williams (CB, Southern) was an eight-time Pro Bowl pick and a four-time first team All-Pro selection during his 14-year career with the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Rams. Williams is 17th on the NFL all-time list with 55 career interceptions. He was named to the NFL 1990 All-Decade. He scored 12 defensive touchdowns during his career, nine on interceptions on three on fumble returns. ELIGIBLE IN 2010.
