Mategakis has accepted the position of director of championships with the California Community College Athletic Association based in Sacramento, California.

The Executive Committee of the Council of Presidents Monday named Harry Stinson III, who has served the SIAC as Director of Communications and Marketing since 2005, to serve as Acting Commissioner, effective January 1, 2009.
