BRAD BYERSON, 6-6, Sr., F/C, VUU, Colonial Hts., VA - In 3 games, Byerson scored 69 points (23.0 ppg.), had 15 rebounds (5.0 rpg.) while making 30 of 52 (57.6) shots from the field. Topped out at 27 points, 8 rebounds in win over Chowan.
ROOKIE
ADRIAN MOFFATT, 6-4, Fr., G, SPC, Newport News, VA - Tallied 43 points (14.3 ppg.) in 3 games, including canning 8 of 17 3-pointers. Totalled 19 points vs. Lincoln.
COACH
DAVE ROBBINS, VUU - Collected 3 wins, notching his 700th victory in win over St. Paul's. 26th coach in NCAA history to reach plateau, fifth in Div. II.

JAMAR SMITH, 6-3, Sr., G, MSU, Brooklyn Park, MN - Had game-high 26 points on 11-of-18 shooting in win over NC A&T, added 9 rebounds. Had 12 points in loss Monday to Norfolk State.
ROOKIE
BRANDON MONROE, 6-7, So., F, NSU, Raeford, NC - Averaged 7.5 points and 7.0 rebounds as Spartans ran win streak to three games. Was 5 of 6 from the field for career-high 11 points vs. NCCU
DEFENSE
BOUBACAR COLY, 6-8, Sr., C, MSU, Senegal - Had 16 pts., 9 rebs. and 2 blocks vs NC A&T, 24 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks in loss to Norfolk State.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
SCHERAUN KING, 6-3, Jr., G, ALBANY STATE, Staten Island, NY - Averaged 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots in wins over Lane and Kentucky State.

SWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
CHRIS DAVIS, 6-1, Jr., G, SOUTHERN, Baton Rouge, LA - Averaged 17 points in each win over Jackson State and Grambling State adding 4 rebounds vs. JSU and 5 vs. GSU. Shot 7 of 11 from the field in both games.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
SHAUN DUMAS, 5-11, Jr., G, XAVIER, New Orleans, LA - Tallied 18 points and dished out 7 assists in Thursday's 76-74 win over SUNO and was held to 8 points in Monday's 52-49 loss to Tougaloo.

WOMEN

LETICIA DICKSON, 5-4, Sr., G, FSU, Smithfield, NC - Tallied 76 points (25.3) in 3 games making 18 of 20 free throws and dropping 10 3-pointers. Scred 28 points in win over VUU.
ROOKIE
ERICA GILLEY, 5-11, Fr., F, FSU, Lexington, NC - Scored 23 points (11.5 ppg.) in two games, while grabbing 12 (6.0 rpg.) rebounds. Had 16 points in win over VUU.
COACH
JACQUES CURTIS, SHAW - Broke 8-game losing streak with four straight wins, knocking off ECSU and BSU in his final two.

TAMAYA DANIELS, 6-2, Jr., C, HOWARD, Syracuse, NY - Had game-winning basket and 18 points, 12 rebounds in Lady Bison's first win, 73-72 over FAMU. Had 12 points, 10 rebounds in win over B-CU.

CHENA PARKER, 6-3, Fr., C, UMES, Poughkeepsie, NY - Averaged 17.5 points, 7.5 rebounds in 2 wins. Had 22 points, 9 rebounds vs. WSSU.
DEFENSE
THEA LITTLEPAGE, 6-2, So., C, DSU - Liittlepage had 6 blocks, 4 steals, 10 rebounds vs. SC State and 4 points, 4 rebounds vs. WSSU.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
SHANTRELL MOSS, 5-7, Jr., G, CAU, Fort Lauderdale, FL - Averaged 17.5 points, 11.3 rebounds, 2 steals and 1.6 blocked shots in wins over Paine, Benedict and Montevallo.

SWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
LaSHAREE CHRISTIAN, 5-6, Sr., G, JACKSON STATE, Bellflower, CA - Had four 3-pointers and finished with game-high 23 points to lead Lady Jags over Southern Monday. Saturday, she had game-high 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds in win over Alcorn State.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
ERICA TURNBULL, 6-0, Sr., C/F, Xavier (La.), Baltimore, MD - Had 18 points and 8 rebounds in win over SUNO and had 14 points 6 rebounds in win over Tougaloo. Shot 15 of 20 (75%) over the two games.
