­ BCSP No. 1 Delaware State 27, NC A&T 0

The Hornets (5-1, 4-0 MEAC) passed only nine times but scored on a kickoff return and an interception return in shutting out the winless Aggies (0-5, 0-7).

­ No. 2 Grambling State 30, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 24

BCSP No. 2 Grambling State (5-1, 5-0 SWAC W) rallied from a 10-0 early deficit to knock off the 2006 West Division champs (1-5, 1-3). GSU freshman RB Frank Warren ran for 92 yards and two scores.

­ No. 3 Tuskegee 35, Stillman 7

QB Jacary Atkinson rushed for one TD and threw for two others as the Golden Tigers (6-0, 5-0) stayed undefeated. Atkinson was 11 of 19 passing for 191 yards and rushed 10 times for 55 yards.

­ No. 8 Norfolk State 20, No. 4 Hampton 19

Norfolk State defender Don Carey rushed in to block Hampton placekicker Carlo Turavani's extra point attempt with 27 seconds left to preserve the Spartans (5-1, 4-0) upset win over the Pirates (4-2, 3-2). Turavani missed a 49-yard field goal with two seconds left. NSU RB Darryl Jones scored on two one-yard runs.

­ Elizabeth City State 23, No. 6 Virginia Union 14

ECSU RB Brandon Fields posted career-highs of 30 carries and 168 yards and opened the scoring on a 9-yard first quarter run as the Vikings (3-4, 2-0 E) knocked Virginia Union (6-1, 1-1 E) from the unbeaten ranks and took over sole possession of first place in the CIAA East with a win in Richmond.
