DEFENSE
RASHEAN MATHIS, CB, Jacksonville (BETHUNE-COOKMAN) - Four tackles, one assist and one interception in win over Miami. Mathis is tied for the NFL lead in interceptions with New England's Assane Samuel with seven.
NICK COLLINS, DB, Green Bay (BETHUNE-COOKMAN) - Six solo tackles, two assists and a forced fumble in loss to NY Jets.

FAKHIR BROWN, DB, St. Louis (GRAMBLING STATE) - Led the Rams with seven solo tackles in loss to Arizona.


  OFFENSE
STEVE McNAIR, QB, Baltimore (ALCORN STATE) - Completed 26of 43 passes for 227 yards and one TD, a 36-yarder to Derrick Mason in the fourth quarter of a 13-7 loss to Cincinnati.

  • DONALD DRIVER, WR, Green Bay (ALCORN STATE) - Three receptions for 41 yards in loss to NY Jets.
  • JAMAL JONES, WR, New Orleans (NC A&T) - One reception for four yards in win over San Francisco.
