CHRIS HENAULT, Jr., SS, B-CC, New Ipswich, NH - Hit .417 going 5-for-12 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored.
PITCHER
FRANCISCO RODRIGUEZ, Jr., LHP, B-CC, Barcelona, Venezuela - Earned second complete-game shutout in 4-0 win over Norfolk State. Gave up two hits and struck out 12 with no walks. Improved to 3-0 in the MEAC, 6-1 overall.
ROOKIE
JOSE ORTIZ-RIVERA, Fr., CF, B-CC, Juncos, Puerto Rico - Hit .417 going 5-of-12. Had two doubles vs. Norfolk State, two runs scored and an RBI. Finished week with 3 doubles, 4 runs, 1 RBI and 3 stolen bases.

INDEPENDENT PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KYLE JONES, Inf/DH, Sr., West Virginia State, Pottstown, PA - Was 8-for-18, (.444) with three home runs and 15 RBIs as Yellow Jackets were 6-0 in the week. Blasted his 19th HR to become WVSU single-season leader. His three-run blast was difference in win over Ohio Valley. Leads the NCAA Div. II ranks in home runs and is two away from league's single-season record.

SIAC TOURNAMENT MVP
ERIC LOVE, ALBANY STATE - Hit .333 with 9 RBIs and a home run in the championship game.

SWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
PAUL JOHNSON, So., INF, PRAIRIE VIEW, Houston, TX -Hit .556 (10-18) with 3 doubles, 5 runs and 4 RBIs. Had .579 On Base percentage and .722 slugging percentage.
PITCHER
DANNY HALL, LHP, Sr., MVSU., San Larenza, CA - Pitched 14.2 innings and recorded league-high 13 strike outs while posting a 3.07 ERA. Started two games and went undefeated (2-0) helping Delta Devils to 3-1 week.

CAMILLE WHITTAKER, Sr., SS, HOWARD, LA, Ca. - Hit .571 with 6 RBI, incl. 8 doubles and 1 HR as Lady Pirates went 4-2. Had 12 hits, 9 for extra bases.
PITCHER
DANIELLE SUMMEROUR, So., P, CSU, Detroit - 2-1 with 2.49 ERA giving up 19 hits, 7 earned runs in 19.2 innings. Threw first CSU shutout since '04 season in win over UMES. Gave up 3 hits, struck out 8.
ROOKIE
KENDRA SAUNDERS, Fr., SS/3B, UMES, Mississauga, Canada - Averaged .385 with 2 RBI, including a double and HR. HR vs. Hampton was 8th of the season. Also had 13 assists and 12 put outs.

INDEPENDENT PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LEENA WORRELL, Tennessee State - Hit a home run in the Lady Tigers' 3-2 loss to E. Illinois.

SIAC TOURNAMENT MVP
LAURA STOKES, KENTUCKY STATE - Batted .583 with 15 total bases in 12 plate appearances. Also picked up two wins and a save as a relief pitcher.

SWAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
EBONY STEVENSON, So., OF, Alcorn State, Gautier, MS - Led Braves to 5-0 week as she was 10-for-16 (.625) with six runs and five doubles. She also had one home run, 3 walks, 11 RBIs and 1 stolen base.
PITCHER
NATALIE JONES, So., P/SS, TEXAS SOUTHERN, Friendswood, TX - Pitched 17 innings allowing one run on 12 hits while striking out 24 and walking two. Had two complete games of work and threw two innings of no-hit relieft with 4 strike outs. Had 0.41 ERA over the weekend.
