OFFENSE
JEROME MATHIS, 5-11, 172, WR/KR, Houston (Rookie, HAMPTON) - One reception for a 14-yard TD, the first receiving TD of his career. Also returned five kickoffs for 179 yards, a 35.4 yard average including a return of 63 yards in Texas first win of the season vs. Cleveland. Mathis is currently second in the NFL averaging 30.4 yards per return on 25 attempts with one TD.

DEFENSE
RASHEAN MATHIS, 6-1, 195, DB, Jacksonville (3rd year, BETHUNE-COOKMAN) - Five solo tackles and two interceptions in loss to St. Louis. He is now tied for third in the NFL with four interceptions.

  • DONALD DRIVER, 6-0, 190, WR, Green Bay (7th year, ALCORN STATE) - One carry for nine yards and five receptions for 76 yards in loss to Cincy. Also had two tackles.

  • MAURICE HICKS, 5-11, 200, RB/KR, San Francisco (2nd year, NC A&T) - Three kickoff returns for 63 yards, a 21-yard average in win over Tampa Bay.
  • STEVE McNAIR, 6-2, 230, QB, Tennessee (11 year, ALCORN STATE) - Completed 26 of 40 passes for 228 yards and one TD, also ran for 41 yards on five carries but had three fumbles, two he lost in loss to Oakland.
  • JIMME SMITH, 6-1, 202, WR, Jacksonville (13th year, JACKSON STATE) - Two receptions for 27 yards in loss to St. Louis.
  • DERRICK WIMBUSH, 6-1, 220, RB/KR, Jacksonville (1st year, FORT VALLEY STATE) - Four KO returns for 106 yards, a 26.5 yard average with a long of 40 yards. Also had one reception for five yards in loss to St. Louis.
