OFFENSE JEROME MATHIS, 5-11, 172, WR/KR, Houston (Rookie, HAMPTON) - Returned fourth quarter kickoff 89 yards for a TD, his first NFL TD, and the first in Texas' franchise history. He finished the day with eight kickoff returns for a total of 266 yards, also a franchise single-game record, an average of 38,0 yards per return which is also a team record, in loss to Indianapolis.

DEFENSE CHARTRIC DARBY, 6-0. 270, DT, Seattle (5th year, SOUTH CAROLINA STATE) - Four solotackles including a sack and two assists in win over Dallas.

• MAURICE HICKS, 5-11, 200, RB/KR, San Francisco (2nd year, NC A&T) - Eight kickoff returns for 128 yards, a 16.6 yard average in loss to Washington.

• GREG WESLEY, 6-2, 206, FS, Kansas City (6th year, ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF) - One solo tackle, two assists and an interception in win over Miami.
• NICK HARPER, 5-10, 182, DB, Indianapolis (5th year, FORT VALLEY STATE) - Two solo tackles and an interception in win over Houston.
• ROBERT MATHIS, 6-2, 235, DE, Indianapolis (3rd year, ALABAMA A&M) - Two solo tackles, one of them his eighth sack of the season, tops in the NFL. The sack also forced a fumble that was returned by Montae Reagor for a TD. Mathis set a franchise record by getting a sack for the seventh straight game, also had one assist in win over Houston.

• FAKHIR BROWN, 5-11, 192,CB, New Orleans (6th year, GRAMBLING STATE) - Four solo tackles in loss to St. Louis.
