JEROME MATHIS, 5-11, 172, WR/KR, Houston (1st year, HAMPTON) - In his first action of the season, Mathis returned five kickoffs for 130 yards, a 26-yard average, including a long of 38 yards in loss to Cincy.
DEFENSE
CURTIS DELOATCH - 6-2, 217, DB, NY Giants (2nd year, N. C. A&T) - Five tackles and one assist covering dangerous Ram receivers in win over St. Louis.

  • STEVE McNAIR, 6-2, 235, QB, Tennessee (11th year, ALCORN STATE) - Completed 28 of 37 passes for 220 yards with 1 TD and 1 int., in loss to Indianapolis. Also rushed four times for 40 yards.
