OFFENSE
JIMMY SMITH, 6-1, 213, WR, Jacksonville (14th year, JACKSON STATE)

- Two receptions for 41 yards including the game-winning touchdown in overtime from 36 yards out to defeat the NY Jets. "(QB) Byron (Leftwich) made a good call," said Smith, 36, but seemingly ageless, who beat David Barrett on the winning score. "He told me to run a slant and go. Fortunately I ran a good enough route for him to make the easy throw."
DEFENSE
RASHEAN MATHIS, 6-1, 195, DB, Jacksonville (3rd year, BETHUNE-COOKMAN)
- Led Jacksonville with six tackles and also had an interception of QB Chad Pennington in overtime in win over NY Jets.

    - Returned three kickoffs for 62 yards in loss to Dallas.
  • STEVE McNAIR, 6-2, 235, QB, Tennessee (11th year, ALCORN STATE) - Completed 24
    of 39 passes for 261 yards with 2 TDs and 2 ints., in loss to St. Louis.
  • DERRICK WIMBUSH, 6-1, 220, KR/RB, Jacksonville (1st year, FORT VALLEY STATE) -
    Returned four kickoffs for 23.2 yard average including a 34-yarder vs. NY Jets.

    DEFENSE
  • NICK HARPER, 5-10, 182, CB, Indianapolis (5th year year, FORT VALLEY STATE) - Five tackles in win over Cleveland.
  • ROBERT MATHIS, 6-2, 235, DE, Indianapolis (3rd year, ALABAMA A&M) - Three tackles
    including a sack in win over Cleveland. Mathis has had a sack in each of the ColtsÕ three games.
  • NICK COLLINS, 5-11, 210, DB, Green Bay (1st year, BETHUNE-COOKMAN) - Four
    tackles, three assists in loss to Tampa Bay.
  • GREG WESLEY, SS, Kansas City (6th year, ARKANSAS-PINE BLUFF) - Led Chiefs with
    nine tackles and had two assists in lost to San Diego.
