ROOKIE
PHILLIPE HARRIS, 5-11, Fr., G, FSU, Fayetteville, NC - In three games, made 9 3-pointers and averaged 12.6 ppg., and 2.6 rpg. Had season-high 18 pts., vs. St. Paul's.

PHILLIP STITT, WSSU - Knocked off Bowie State and beat Va. State.

ANTONIO WEBB, 5-10, Jr., G, B-CC, Fairfax, VA - Averaged 24.5 ppg., in two wins, getting career-high 35 vs. NC A&T, 11 in OT, also had 4 steals, 4 blocks and 3 assists.
DEVIN GREEN, 6-7, Sr., G, Hampton, Columbus, OH - Avgd. 16.5 ppg., and 10.5 rpg. in two road wins, including 15 and game-winner vs. Coppin State

DARRYL PROCTOR, 6-7, Fr., F, Coppin State, District Hgts., MD - Had 34 pts., in two games including career-high 24 vs. UMES. Also had 10 in loss to Hampton.

OFFENSE
BRION RUSH, Jr., G, Grambling State, Shreveport, LA - Rush scored a season-high 33 points, hitting 12 of 15 from the field, including 8 of 9 three-pointers in Tigers 75-67 win over MVSU. He had 18 in loss to UAPB.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
TONY CORNETT, 6-5, Soph., F, W. Va. State, Columbus, OH - Averaged 18.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 2-0 week. The Jackets lead the WVIAC with a 9-1 conference record. Cornett, last year's Rookie of the Year, is averaging 19.3 ppg., 9.7 rpg.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
NICK WALLERY, 6-7, Sr., C, Albany St., Deland, FL -
Golden Rams won two of three as Wallery averaged 21.3 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals.

CELESTE TRAHAN, Fr., C, ECSU, Stockton, CA - In two victories, averaged 20 pts., 16 reb., 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks. Averages 15 points, eads CIAA in rebounding and is second in blocks.

JACQUES CURTIS, Shaw - With three wins, improved to 19-1 and ranked third nationally.

NAJMA FAUNTLEROY, 6-1, Jr., F/C, DelState, Odenton, MD - Notched two double-doubles, averaging 12 points and 12 rebounds in victories over Norfolk St. and FAMU. ROOKIE
RASHIDA SUBER, 5-8, SO., G, Coppin State, Reading, PA - Helped end Hampton's five-game winning streak with 13-point effort. Also had 14 points in win over UMES.

In big home wins over Alabama A&M and Alabama State, Jones averaged 11.5 points and 9 rebounds getting 11 pts., 8 rebs., vs. ASU and 12 pts., 10 rebs., vs. AA&M.

DANAEA WILLIAMS, 5-8, Sr., F, Central State, Kalamazoo, MI -
Had 20 points and 18 rebounds in win over Wayne State that improved Lady Marauders to 15-4 on the season.
