MEN

CIAA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
RALPH BROWN, 6-4, Sr., F, VUU, Richmond, VA - Brown averaged 16.5 ppg., 8.5 rpg., and 1.5 apg., in wins over Va. State and St. Paul's. Against SPC, Brown had 22 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
ROOKIE
CHARLES NEELEY, 6-1, Fr., G, SAC, Tallahassee, FL - In three games averaged 17.6 ppg., and 7.3 rpg. Had season-high 20 points and had 6 rebounds and 2 assists vs. FSU.
COACH
DAVE ROBBINS, VUU - Got fifth straight win to improve to 13-1.

MEAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
JAHSHA BLUNTT, 6-6, So., G, DSU, Los Angeles, CA - Hit game-winner in OT vs. Hampton finishing with 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 steals. In win over SC State, had team-high 19 points including five three-pointers.
ROOKIE
DARRIN SHINE, 6-0, So., G, DSU, Augusta, GA - Averaged 11.5 ppg., 3.5 rpg., and 2.0 apg., in wins over SC State and Hampton. Had 16 points, 6 assists and 3 steals vs. SC State.
TONY MURPHY, 6-4, Fr., G, NSU, Patterson, NJ - Had 23 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists in two wins for Spartans.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
ERIC KING, 6-7, Jr., F, Tenn. State, Brooklyn, NY -
Shot 12 of 20 on the week averaging 14.0 points and 9.0 rebounds as TSU split games, beating UT-Martin (92-76) and losing to Murray State (82-74).

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
JAYSON WILLIAMS, 6-7, Sr., F, Lane, Detroit, MI -
Dragons won two of three as Williams averaged 16.7 ppg., 15 rpg., 4.0 apg., 5.0 spg., and 1.3 bpg.

CELESTE TRAHAN, Fr., C, ECSU, Stockton, CA - In three games, averaged 16.3 ppg., 14.3 rpg., 2.6 spg., and 2.3 bpg. Had 26 points, 19 boards vs. Fayv. St.

VANESSA TAYLOR, Shaw - After 3-0 week, her Golden Bulls are 15-2, best start since 2000-01.

PLAYER
SHAREKA GLOVER, 5-5, Jr., G, NC A&T, Washington, DC - Led Lady Aggies to two MEAC wins getting 23 points vs. Howard and 10 points, 14 assists vs. Florida A&M.
ROOKIE
RACHEL BUTLER, 5-8, Fr., G, Hampton, Dallas, TX - Averaged 12.5 ppg., and 5 rpg., in two wins vs. UMES and DSU. Hit two clutch three-pointers in OT win over DelState. Also had 13 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals in win over UMES.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
SULTRA HARDING, 6-2, Sr., C, Central State, Dayton, OH -
Led Lady Marauders with 25 points on 12 of 16 shooting and also had 11 rebounds in 68-45 win over Michigan-Dearborn.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
AMANDA RAY, So., F, Fort Valley State, Ft. Lauderdale, FL -
In wins over Paine and Benedict, Ray averaged 24.5 ppg., 6.0 rpg., 2.0 apg., and 6.0 spg.
