CIAA PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
PLAYER
ALLEGGRIE GUINN, 6-3, Jr., G, WSSU, Charlotte, NC - Averaged 21.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists in wins over VUU and ECSU. In upset of #1 ranked VUU, he had a game-high 25 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.
ROOKIE
DAVID SANDERS, 6-8, Fr., C, JCSU, Queens, NY - Averaged 11 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2 blocks in two games. He scored 18 points, had 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in loss to VUU.
COACH
PHILLIP STITT, WSSU - Led Rams to two wins on the week including upset of Va. Union.

MEAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

PLAYER
CHAKOWBY HICKS, 6-4. Sr., G, NSU, Washington, DC - Had 27 points, 11 rebounds in win over Savannah St., and had 16 points, four assists and four steals in win over MEAC-favorite SC State.
ROOKIE
DARRYL PROCTOR, 6-4, Fr., F, Coppin St., District Hgts., MD - Scored a career-high 18 points to lift the Eagles over Del State. Shot 4 of 8 from the field and 10 of 11 from the free throw line and had five rebounds and three assists.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
WAYNE ARNOLD, Jr., G, Tenn. State -
In two games, he had nine thre-pointers and finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds as the Tigers split two OVC contests. Had a season-high 17 in loss to Samford.
DERMAYNE BULLOCK, WV State - Scored 15 points and had 5 rebounds in win over Bluefield State.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
NICK WALLERY, 6-7, Sr., C/F, Albany State, Deland, FL -
In wins over Stillman and Tuskegee, Wallery averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2 blocks.

­ Daniel Lomax, Paine - Averaged 21 points, 3 assists and a steal in three games.
­ Charles Bankhead, Benedict - Averaged 21 points, 7.7 rebounds in three games.

ASHLEY SEARCH, Fr., G, St. Aug's, Pontiac, MI - Hit 6 of 8 three-pointers en route to 20-point outing vs. Allen
COACH
ANTONIO DAVIS, St. Aug's - Wins over Cheyney and Allen on the week to improve to 9-3.

DAISHA HICKS, Sr., G, Howard, Antelope, CA - Had 21 points vs. Lafayette and 19 vs. Morgan St., both wins. Shot 46.7% from the floor and averaged 5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
ROOKIE
RASHIDA SUBER, So., G, Coppin State, Reading, PA - Had 11 points in win over DelState. Helped end DSU's 23-game home winning streak.

INDEPENDENT PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
LESLIE DEAN, Jr., F, Tenn. State -
Had 23 points as TSU broke 22-game OVC losing streak with win over Jacksonville State. Added 12 points in loss to Samford.

SIAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
AMANDA RAY, 6-0, So., F, Fort Valley State, Ft. Lauderdale, FL -
Averaged 23.5 points, 4 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.5 assists in loss to Tuskegee and win over Stillman.
