STRAHAN: NY Giants DE (Texas Southern) smiles after bagging two sacks and grabbing two fumbles in win over Cleveland.
DEFENSE
MICHAEL STRAHAN, 6-5, 275, DE, New York Giants (12th year, Texas Southern) - Had five tackles, one assist, two sacks and recovered two fumbles in win over Cleveland. Strahan played with a sore left hand. Strahan's biggest play came in the opening minutes of the second half when he recovered a fumble by Brawns QB Jeff Garcia at the Giants 5 with New York leading 10-0. "That play kind of took the air out of their sails, because we went down and scored," said Strahan.

OFFENSE
RANDY HYMES, 6-3, 211, WR, Baltimore (3rd year, Grambling State) - Led Ravens with four catches for 61 yards including a 38-yard second quarter TD from Kyle Boler in Baltimore's win over Cincinnati.

  • Nick Harper, 5-10, 182, CB, Indianapolis (4th year, FORT VALLEY STATE) - Six tackles, three assists and an important fumblie recovery in win over Green Bay.
