SHANNON SHARPE, 6-2, 228, TE, Denver (13th year, SAVANNAH STATE) - Had seven receptions for 101 yards and three TDs (11, 26 and 26 yards) from Jake Plummer in win over San Diego. Sharpe's three touchdown receptions enabled him to pass Jerry Smith's league record by a tight end with 61. Sharpe is already the all-time leader in receptions and yards at his position

DEFENSE
HUGH DOUGLAS, 6-2, 280, DE, Jacksonville (9th year, CENTRAL STATE) - Four tackles, one assist, one-and-a-half sacks, and a forced Steve McNair fumble in loss to Tennessee.
DWAINE CARPENTER, 6-1, 203, DB, San Francisco (1st year, NORTH CAROLINA A&T) - Three special teams tackles, causing two fumbles, one recovered by the 49ers in win over Pittsburgh.
