New Coaches at Jackson State
Jackson State has announced the hiring of two new head coaches in women's sports for the 2003-04 school year.

Pauline Banks joins the athletic staff as the head coach of women's track and field while Kenya Peters comes to JSU as the new women's softball coach. Banks served an eight-year stint at Mississippi Valley State as head coach of the track and field program and as Senior Women's Administrator. She got her start in collegiate athletics as a graduate assistant at Grambling State in 1992. She joined the Delta Devils athletic staff in 1996 as the coach for women's track and field before adding the men's program to her duties in 1997.

Peters joins the JSU staff after a two-year hiatus from collegiate softball. Both coaches will begin their tenure at Jackson State on September 16. Banks' first cross country meet will be on September 20 at Millsaps College. Peters and her squad will be in action in USM's Fall Tournament in early October.
