
(ATLANTA)-The campus of North Carolina A&T University will get a visit fromMcDonald'sŪ Heritage Bowl representatives this weekend as the Aggies prepareto face off against Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference powerhouse Florida A&MUniversity this weekend at Aggie stadium.
Organizers and game officials will be on hand to promote the 1999McDonald's Heritage Bowl. NC A&T is the conference favorite for a birth to this year's game that will be played on Saturday, December 18th, 1999 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
Game organizers are extremely excited about the prospects of North Carolina A&T's return to the Heritage Bowl since its debut in 1991. The game in 1991 took place at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami, FL where the Aggies were destroyed by the Hornets of Alabama State University, 36-13.
Now with the game firmly established in Atlanta for the fourth consecutive year, it appears as though the Aggies will get a chance to redeem themselves. Early bowl projections pair them against defending McDonald's Heritage Bowl champs Southern University in a showdown of football prowess and band pageantry.
McDonald's Heritage Bowl representatives will be on hand Saturday promotingthe December 18th contest and conducting interviews.
