The Savannah State University Tiger Baseball Team has broken the single season Division II consecutive win record with 31 victories. The record came in a double-header win over Tuskegee University. The previous record was 30 wins in 1998 by Kennesaw State University. The Tigers could break the 23 year old Division I consecutive win record of 34 set by the University of Texas in 1977 on Sunday 3-19-00 when they host the University of Maryland at Eastern Shore in Savannah, Georgia.
