Morgan State football coach Stanley Mitchell is awaiting release from the hospital following a massive heart attack last week. Mitchell drove himself to the hosital Friday morning when he began having chest pains. Doctors kept him for triple-bypass surgery that lasted four hours. The Panthers of Virginia Union University are now the top ranked team in Division II men's basketball. VUU, 17-1, ascended to the top spot for the first time this year, moving up from #2 last week.
