Central State University has hired Trona Logan as Academic Advisor/Compliance Coordinator. The announcement was made by Theresa A. Check, Director of Athletics and Head Women's Basketball Coach at CSU.
Logan will be responsible for monitoring the academic progress ofall CSU athletes and advising them on course of study. In this capacity she will work in conjunction with theUniversity Academic Advising Center. Additionally, Logan will be in charge of verifying eligibility for all CSUathletes. Prior to joining the CSU staff Logan was a Placement Specialist with the Dayton Job Corp andAssistant Women's Basketball Coach for Wilberforce University.
Logan played basketball for the Lady Marauders and Coach Check from 1986-1990. She was a captain ofthe team her junior and senior years and earned several all-area honors. She is a member of the CSUAthletic Hall of Fame. Ms. Logan will also assist Coach Check and Coach Tramble with the LadyMarauders basketball team. Trona. is the daughter of Oliver and Emmerlene Logan of Dayton, OH.
