Hampton, VA... Bethune-Cookman defeated the Spartans of Norfolk State, 4-1 to earn a third place finish in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament Championship. The Wildcats got off to a quick start winning the doubles point, thanks to the teams of Msiska & Rakocevic (8-5) and Kindig & Volacek (8-3).
B-CC's three other points came from Khambula Msiska (#2), Veselin Rakocevic (#5), and Scott Kindig (#6). Norfolk State's lone point came from #1 singles Alfredo Galvez, who was a straight set winner over Ondret Silva 7-6, 6-2.
