Hampton, VA...The Hampton men's and women's track team swept both team scoring winning the 56th Annual Hampton Relays. The Lady Pirates and Pirates scored 123.8 and 105.5 points respectively, out distancing the men and women of Towson University.
The Outstanding Athletics for the event was Hampton's Amy Henry and Jahmal Sands. Henry helped the Lady Pirates to one first place finish (shuttle hurdle relay) and four second place finishes. Sands was a major part of the Pirate's five first place finishes (shuttle hurdle, 4X200, 4X400,sprint medley and 4x800).
