The Black Men of Athens will formally announce the First Annual Classic City Football Classic, which will pit the Albany State University Golden Rams against the Morehouse College Tigers, at a press conference on Saturday, May 15, 1999, in Athens, Ga. The press conference will be held at 10 a.m. at the Hill Chapel Baptist Church, located at 1692 West Hancock Ave.
Athletic Directors, head coaches, key players and alumni from both schools will be present at the press conference.
Prior to the press conference, ASU and Morehouse officials will be guests on a WBKZ 880 AM radio talk show, hosted by BMA President Rick Dunn. The football game is Saturday, September 18, at 2:30 p.m. at the Billy Henderson Stadium at Clarke Central High School.
