JCSU Golden Bulls announce 2001 football scheduleApril 26, 2001CHARLOTTE, NC - The Golden Bulls will begin their ten game season in their newly built stadium when they face West Virginia Institute of Technology (Aug. 25th). September 1st the Bulls will be matched-up against conference opponent Bowie State in the Eddie McGirt Classic to be played at Charlotte's Memorial Stadium. On Sept. 8th the Trojans of Virginia State attempt to invade Charlotte. The Bulls will hit the road to play non-conference opponents Albany State on Sept. 15th followed by Alabama State on Sept. 29th. JCSU will host the Panthers of Virginia Union on Oct. 6th, and Homecoming 2001 will be celebrated on October 13th against Livingstone College at Charlotte's Memorial Stadium. The Bulls will be on the road when they meet up with Fayetteville State (Oct. 20th) and the CIAA defending champion Rams of Winston-Salem State (Oct. 27th).
