MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Jackson State Tigers football team picked up its fifth victory and climbed above the .500 mark for the first time this season by beating Alabama State 20-0 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon.

The Tigers put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter when Cedric Dixon hauled in a 14 yard pass from Mosley to make the score 21-0 with 2:07 remaining in the game.
