Baylor 113, Jackson State 78

WACO, TX - The Jackson men's basketball team fell to a 1-11 overall record as the Tigers fell 113-78 to the No. 19 ranked Baylor Bears (12-1) Wednesday evening.

Jeremy Caldwell scored a game high 25 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season. Grant Maxey followed with 16 points and four rebounds.

Kevin Rogers led the Bears in scoring, as he scored 21 points on 10-13 shooting. Henry Dugat followed with 20 points and LaceDarius Dunn recorded a double-double of his own with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Josh Lomers scored 14 points and Tweety Carter chipped in 12 points.

Baylor led 62-37 at halftime. In the second half the Bears outscored the Tigers 51-41.

Jackson State will return to action Saturday, Jan. 3 when the Tigers travel to Montgomery, AL to face Alabama State in JSU's first conference game of the season. Tip-off is set for 5:30 pm.
