Ward and Lassiter to commentate Capital City Classic on Comcast Sports South

ATLANTA, GA – On Saturday, November 18th the broadcast team of Charles Ward and Mark Lassiter will provide Comcast Sports South’s on-air coverage of The Capital City Classic from Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi. This will be the third Black College football game covered by the broadcast team during the 2006 season.

Ward and Lassiter will provide the commentary for the live broadcast of the annual match-up between the Tigers of Jackson State University and Braves of Alcorn State University. Kick-off is set for 2:30 p.m.
Since 1990, the broadcast team has shared the television and radio booth as HBCU commentators. Ward is a graduate of FAMU and the Howard University School of Law while Lassiter earned his BFA from Howard.
