Shaw announces three athletics staff additions

Shaw University Athletics has announced three additions to its staff.

Terry Spicer has been named Director of Sports Media and Athletic Relations, Maurice Williams has been tabbed Sports Information Director and Kimberly Miller joins the staff as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics.
A graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communications, Spicer has spent most of her career in the corporate sector in Public Relations and Marketing; the last three years in higher education. Her task will be to strategically engage and connect the University and the community to elevate the image of Shaw University Athletics.
Williams will serve as a member of the Office of Sports Media & Athletic Relations. The Allendale, SC native is a 2005 graduate of Livingstone College with a degree in English Liberal Arts. During his college tenure, he was the student assistant to the Sports Information Director at Livingstone College. He worked as statistician for the college’s football, women’s softball, women’s volleyball, and men’s and women’s basketball teams and assisted in developing publications for the office.
Miller recently obtained a Masters of Science degree in Sports Studies from High Point University and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from Winston-Salem State University. She has worked in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) office where she helped coordinate conference championships. She has also interned with the Charlotte Bobcats.
