SWAC 2006 Football Television Schedule
announced
August 1, 2006
SWAC Football will be featured in national
television broadcasts throughout the season.
The SWAC has a multi-year National Television
Contract with ESPN, with feature games on the
ESPN family of channels including their newest
24-hour college sports network ESPN U.
SWAC
is also a member of the Division I-AA Football
Consortium which features a game of the week
on CSTV.
A preliminary
schedule for the 2006 Televised Football Games
has been announced with the option that
ESPN will pick additional games based on divisional
standings and match ups 12-days prior to the
proposed additional contests.
