Programming change results in All-Day coverage for SWAC
on ESPNU
November 10, 2005
Birmingham, AL – ESPN U has made some adjustments to its programming
schedule for Saturday, November 12, resulting in 3 back-to-back SWAC events
played in front of a national television audience.
Alabama State at Mississippi Valley State Football will be live on ESPN U at
2:30 pm Central. After the game, ESPN U’s studio show “The U” will
air at 5:30, followed by the tape delayed Jackson State at Prairie View A&M
Football Game at 6:00 pm Central. Immediately after the JSU vs. Prairie View
game the 2005 SWAC Women’s Volleyball Championship game will air, giving
SWAC fans an all day feast of SWAC programming.
To recap, here is a breakdown of the coverage for Saturday, November 12 (All
Times Central):
2:30pm – Alabama State at Mississippi Valley State (Live)
5:30pm – The U
6:00pm – Jackson State at Prairie View A&M (Tape Delayed)
9:00pm – 2005 SWAC Women’s Volleyball Championship
