NCCU announces changes to 2006 Football
Schedule
June 16, 2006
DURHAM, NC -- North Carolina Central University has announced
changes to its 2006 football schedule.
The gridiron match-up against Shaw on Sunday, Sept. 3, originally
slated for Carter-Finley Stadium in Raleigh, N.C., will be
played at NCCU's O'Kelly-Riddick Stadium in Durham, N.C.
Due to a scheduling conflict, NCCU's home game against Lenoir-Rhyne
has been moved from Sept. 16 to Sept. 9. The Saint Paul's contest
has been replaced with a first-ever meeting with Langston (Okla.)
University. The Lions posted a 7-3 overall record last season
and won the 2005 Central States Football League Conference
Championship.
