Jude
gives up volleyball coaching position at Coppin State

BALTIMORE, Md. —Coppin State University has announced the
resignation of head women’s volleyball coach China
Jude, effective immediately.
Jude,
who was named head coach in May of 2001, compiled a 14-104
record in four seasons with the Lady Eagles, including
a 2-23 mark this year. Prior to coming to Coppin, Jude
served two years as head volleyball coach at UNC-Wilmington.
Jude,
who is in her first year as assistant athletics director/senior
woman administrator, will remain at Coppin in that capacity
and also will continue to serve as strength and conditioning
coach.
An
immediate search will begin for a successor.
