August 5, 2004

ORLANDO - Ticket sales for the 2004 Walt Disney World Florida Classic are already disappearing at a record-setting pace. On Wednesday, 4,330 game tickets were sold, shattering last-year's record-setting opening day total of 2,724.

The 25th Annual Classic, which features intra-state rivals Bethune-Cookman College and Florida A&M University, will be played Saturday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m. in the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early as last season's game was sold out and played before a record crowd of 73,358.

Reserved sideline seats in the 100 and 200 levels are $35.00, while remaining reserved seating is $30.00. Student tickets, which are sold only through the participating schools, are $20.00.

Reserved individual tickets will be on sale at all Florida Ticketmaster outlets and at www.ticketmaster.com.  Tickets can be purchased over the phone through Ticketmaster at (407) 839-3900.  Tickets will also be available at the TD Waterhouse Centre box office.

Florida Citrus Sports (FCS), the Classic's game management organization, will sell group tickets of 20 or more and accessible seating at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium box office located in the Conference Centre at the south end of the stadium.  The normal operating hours of the FCS box office will be 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  For more information on group tickets and accessible seating contact FCS at (407) 423-2476.
