Disney World Florida Classic ticket sales set Opening-Day
record

ORLANDO - Ticket sales for the
2004 Walt Disney World Florida Classic are already disappearing
at a record-setting pace. On Wednesday, 4,330 game tickets
were sold, shattering last-year's record-setting opening day
total of 2,724.
The 25th Annual Classic, which
features intra-state rivals Bethune-Cookman College and Florida A&M University,
will be played Saturday, November 20 at 4:00 p.m. in the Florida Citrus Bowl
Stadium.
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets early as last season's
game was sold out and played before a record crowd of 73,358.
Reserved sideline seats in the
100 and 200 levels are $35.00, while remaining reserved seating is $30.00. Student
tickets, which are sold only through the participating schools, are $20.00.
Reserved individual tickets will
be on sale at all Florida Ticketmaster outlets and at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets
can be purchased over the phone through Ticketmaster at (407) 839-3900. Tickets
will also be available at the TD Waterhouse Centre box office.
Florida Citrus Sports (FCS), the
Classic's game management organization, will sell group tickets of 20 or more
and accessible seating at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium box office located
in the Conference Centre at the south end of the stadium. The normal operating
hours of the FCS box office will be 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays
