Game Returns to Hotlanta

Atlanta – Pioneer Bowl VI Presented by Chrysler, will
be played Saturday, December 20th at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta
with kickoff set for 2:00pm.
The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) recently
entered a sponsorship agreement with Chrysler Group including
advertising and marketing initiatives.
“This is an exciting time for the SIAC,” says
SIAC Commissioner, Dr. William Lide. “This new agreement
will benefit our proud and distinguished schools for years
to come. It will give significant new dollars to SIAC programs
and services that will propel us to the national prominence
we desire.”
Tickets are now available through the SIAC office. Tickets
are $20 for adults and $15 for students with valid ID. Group
ticket plans and special rate tickets may be purchased through
the SIAC office only.
Started in 1997, the Pioneer Bowl Presented by Chrysler features
the SIAC vs. the CIAA for not only bragging rights, but also
the NEW Pioneer Bowl Cup.
The Pioneer Bowl Presented by Chrysler is much more than a
football game. It’s a series of events. Other activities
planned for this year’s game include:
· High School Battle of the Bands featuring schools
from Georgia and Tennessee

Platinum recording artist Kelly Price will sing the national
anthem
·
A halftime performance by a surprise national recording artist
