Miles AD named Chair of SIAC Athletic Director's Association

The Athletic Directors of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic
Conference have selected Miles
College's Augustus James, as
the new Chairman of the Athletic Directors Association. The
election took place at the recent
SIAC spring meetings in Atlanta, Georgia.
The meetings kicked
off with the Inaugural SIAC Celebrity Golf Tournament.
“Miles College is really moving forward in this conference," said
James. "We plan to heighten this conference to greater pinnacles. I am
also glad for the conference Athletic Directors, for having the confidence
in me to serve as Chairman of the Association.”
Dr. Albert J. H. Sloan, II, Miles College President and Chairman of the SIAC
Council of President's, said, “I am proud of Mr. Augustus James for his
leadership.”
