Vegas Classic Offers Free Tickets With Travel Packages

Las Vegas – Las Vegas Football Classic
officials announced today that the first 100 official travel
packages
at each official hotel booked between July 30, 2003 and August
12th, 2003 will get two free tickets, a $40.00 value, to
the Battle of the Bands held at the Thomas & Mack Center
Friday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
Purchase of travel packages with Rio All-Suite Hotel and
Casino, Harrah’s, and Stardust
hotels by Aug. 12 will ensure that fans will see the battle
between the Southern Human Jukebox and A&T Marching Machine,
featuring a special performance by Gladys Knight. Fans need
to ask for

Legendary entertainer Gladys Knight has pledged her support
and talents to the LVFC and will sing the national anthem at
the Battle of the Bands.

The Las Vegas Football Classic has something scheduled for
everyone. At the official after party, The Neville Brothers
will be featured in concert at the Stardust Hotel and Steve
Harvey, the Original King of Comedy and Grammy nominated performer
will perform at the Thomas & Mack Center following the
Battle of the Bands. Harrah’s headliner and stellar entertainer
Clint Holmes will sing the national anthem, and Gladys Knight
will perform “Lift Every Voice.”
The halftime will literally explode with the largest fireworks
show in the history of Black College sports. There will be
a Vendor Marketplace at Sam Boyd Stadium featuring jewelry,
African art, and clothes.
